Customer Review: Compromises? Not In My View.
I did a fair amount of soul-searching before pulling the trigger on this purchase, in large part because of all the "compromises" apparently required to make as thin as this one is. For me, the MBA replaced a ThinkPad T-40, which has been as sturdy, consistent, and feature-laden as it is unattractive. My worry was that, though I was sure I would like the size and appearance of the MBA, maybe I would miss the T-40's feature set. Worse, I might miss a particular feature while traveling. So, I almost didn't buy the MBA.
I needn't have worried -- the MBA is simply incredible. As others have mentioned, the case is quite sturdy. Apple's engineers ingeniously relied on some of the internal components themselves as part of the skeleton for the case. This sounds scary, except that they were designed to serve both functions. The keyboard is crisp and comfortable (and keep in mind that I'm coming from a very well-regarded keyboard in the ThinkPad). The trackpad gestures more than make up for all of the extra keys the ThinkPad has. Although it takes some getting used to, the three-finger swipe, the two finger "right-click", pinching/expanding, etc., are all intuitive, comfortable, and fairly addictive. I've even started missing them on my desktop. The screen is really impressive -- a *big* improvement from my previous laptop. And battery life has been just fine -- definitely not the advertised five hours, but consistently well over three.
What do I miss? Honestly, not much. I've started using downloaded movies when I travel, including iTunes rentals. They all look just as good as a DVD did (on a laptop, at least) and are better for battery life. When I use an external mouse, I use a Bluetooth wireless model, so it doesn't take up the USB port. I was never a battery-swapper anyway, so that's not an issue. (I'll probably gripe about the built-in battery every couple of years when I replace it, then forget it the rest of the time.) And I can't save everything I have on the hard drive, though it holds everything that I would ever need on-the-go. I don't even miss the Ethernet port, as I travel with an Airport Express, and have for years. For me, the only real downside is the speed of opening applications. Opening most apps is noticeably and annoyingly slower than with my desktop (or, presumably, than all of the other Apple notebooks). However, once open, they do just fine. I now leave them open, which Apple says is fine, and speed is more than adequate.
As a disclaimer, I should mention that I'm a lawyer, so my usage doesn't involve heavy graphic or media work. I tend to run the Microsoft Office suite, Safari, iTunes, iPhoto, watch movies, and use the internet. For those types of things, the MBA comfortably meets my needs. I've even added VM Ware's Fusion program (running Windows XP) and, once loaded, it does the job as well. A speed demon this computer isn't, but if you use general productivity software and Apple's consumer applications, you'll probably be very happy.
Customer Review: Great companion laptop
I have been looking for a computer to write with, going through a few different computers before finally settling on this one. The pluses and minuses have been covered well by all the great reviews here.
The computer itself is fantastic. What it lacks in ports, drives, battery life, etc it makes up for in quality bones. The screen is easily the best screen on any Mac laptop (this is something of a lottery though, and some airs are given better screens then others), and the build quality is also the best of any mac laptop imo. It feels sturdy in your hands, and the weight is just right.
Multitouch allows you to stop using the trackpad button altogether (and you'll never miss the 2nd button again). The keyboard backlight is very bright if needed, and is especially effective with the black keys. I use it with a network desktop/server so disk space doesn't matter to me. Also, I like the 1.6 b/c it's noticeably cooler than the 1.8 and the fans seem to run several hundred rpms lower on avg.
Overall, this is a good second computer. A LOT of people have had problems with their macbook airs, esp fan/heat issues. Proceed with caution, and assume there is a good chance you will need to exchange it (perhaps multiple times as some people have had to do). If you are willing to risk those issues, the potential reward can be worth it. It is a pleasure to use in bed w/ the lights out.

Ok, If you are a die hard original RE fan you should really go see this movie.. Although it does not stick to the original story line as in the Playstation version of the game, It does however touch on some of the events. I rated it 4 stars only because I thought If they actually sticked with the original story, they would have made for a really good movie. You know.. Creeping around an old Mansion and finding trap doors and having zombies fly out at you.. Im so addicted to the original game.. that it is somewhat sad.. The game just rocks..
Anyways, getting back to the movie, if you love zombie movies and played alot of Resident Evil.. this is a must see... It's definetly filled with action and gives you more of an idea on how the T-VIRUS came about, and how evil the Umbrella Corporation can be.

Another Great telephone book ArticleHow E-books Can Improve Your Business
Have you ever wondered what was so great about e-books and software you see being sold all over the internet?
How are they going to help you? Why should you invest in them? What are resell rights and how are they really going to affect my business?
Are you new to internet marketing? Do you need to build a website but are not sure how to get started and you do not have the resources or the money to hire a website designer or hire a one on one consultant to teach you how to market online?
E-books are an excellent way to teach yourself new ideas not only for business but for your personal life as well. From easy to understand step by step instructions on how to build a website to how to market your new website online to learning how to cope with depression or learn a new recipe to wow your guests an e-book can not only save you money and time but also give you another product to offer to your website visitors.
You will not have to rely on others to design your website, if you get a great idea and want to start promoting it you do not have to rely on others to update your site when their schedule allows but go in and update the site yourself.
What about turning what you just learned into a business?
A new service to offer to your existing clients or use this new skill you learned to bring in more visitors to your website. Think about it, you are new to the internet you are not sure where to start you purchase an e-book to teach yourself a new trade. There are others out there everyday starting where you were, not sure how to get started, can't afford to pay huge prices for consultations or website designs. Now turn that new skill into a money making machine!
Imagine teaching yourself how to build a website using FTP then turning around and offering that as a new service to your clients.
What about how to install scripts on websites, or how to use SEO to enhance your site, so many e-books and software products out there can teach you new ways to increase your traffic. Learn while you earn is my motto, test out products you see then use them to earn you more money.
What are Resell rights? How can I use Resell rights to increase my income?
Resell rights gives you the permission to resell or giveaway the product you just bought for any price you want and keep all the profits.
Unlike affiliate programs where you have to pay another person out of the profit with resell rights you keep all the profits! When looking for items to add to your website you need to pick and choose products that will fit your visitor's needs. Think about what you would be looking for if you were coming to your site. Not only can you resell the product but you can offer it for free to gain you more subscribers to your newsletter, add new products weekly or monthly to have your visitors keep coming back to your site.
Many resell right packages come with graphics, websites you can upload to your server or add the graphics to your pages, PDF files, and once in a while a Word document so you can add your own information and become the expert writer. You have all the information you need to start selling the day you purchase resell rights to a product.
Can resell rights really help me grow my business?
I have been selling e-books and software that I have tested and have had other entrepreneurs test for over 2 years now. I have noticed a huge difference in the traffic to my website when I offer something for free that will help my visitors. Everyone loves the word free. Entice your visitors with a great freebie e-book or software product that you have tried and have had great success with, bring them to your site, place the freebie near another offer you have going for that month.
You can also gather together a great package and offer it as an up sale. What does up sale mean? Say you have a wonderful product you want to sell, offer free e-books or software for each purchase. Be sure to totally explain everything they will receive with the up sale, the benefits of the e-book or software that you are providing should they purchase.
Ok so you don't do web design what about looking into e-cookbooks or self help e-books and software time management. There are tons of e-cookbooks and self management software available if you know where to look and many of them are very affordable for any budget.

Hannah Montana
Hannah Montana
If the 9-year-old in your life hasn't alerted you already, consider this your heads up: Not since Hilary Duff has Disney delivered the masses a tween sensation as hot as the double-life-leading Miss Hannah Montana. More important for speaker-blowing second- to seventh-graders and the parents forced to buy them CDs, though, no small-screen sensation transcends the tube more convincingly. Part party girl and part plain old good girl, Montana--a sweet-voiced, playful performer--never skimps on the pipes. Country fans will chalk that up to our rhyme-named heroine's lineage; 14-year-old Miley Cyrus, who plays Montana, is the daughter of Nashville star Billy Ray Cyrus (who duets on this disc's sentimental, twang-resistant last track). The rest of the world, though, is apt to find itself belting along based on Hannah's unsinkable hooks and frothy Ashlee-meets-Hilary vocals alone: theme song "Best of Both Worlds" bumps around off a Joan Jett-reminiscent springboard; "Who Said" rips a page from the emo diaries; and "Just Like You" ladles on harmonies sweet enough to attach a stick to. Additional tracks like Jesse McCartney's "She's No You" and B5's Earth Wind & Fire redo "Shining Star" are first-rate complements to the proceedings, but make no mistake: this dance-happy hybrid belongs to the reigning pop princess alone. --Tammy La Gorce

Jason Wade proved himself a gifted songwriter with Lifehouse's first record, 2000's multiplatinum No Name Face, which spawned the #1 hit "Hanging by a Moment." Calling that song a hit, however, is a bit of an understatement as "Hanging by a Moment" was the most-played song of 2001.
Stanley Climbfall, the band's Top 10 follow-up, was released in 2002.
2005 saw the release of their third album simply titled Lifehouse which included the undeniable hit #1 multi-format hit "You And Me" and kept the band out on the road touring for over a year.
With Who We Are, Lifehouse takes another evolutionary step making an upbeat album full of potential hits sure to please fans and make new ones.
Customer Review: Lifehouse
Good CD, like their others CD's I was not disappointed. I enjoy listening to Lifehouse.
Customer Review: Lifehouse simply ROCKS!!
I purchased this CD when it was released and have not removed it from my car's 6 disc changer since then. The album sounds as fresh then as it is now, which says allot. Jason's voice is simply...........stunning and so soul inspiring. I have purchased every Lifehouse CD and rate this their best effort followed alongside by No Name Face. "Easier to Be" is the song I can't seem to get tired of. The whole CD is simply listen-able and don't have to skip any tracks as they all stand on their own merit.
I can't wait for their NEW album or somehow see them live somewhere.

Customer Review: Small and fragile
I bought this item brand new and in hot pink colored (caught my eye). Flashy, small & cool looking! However, it contains 1 LED light which is bright but not wide spread. So when reading it lights up only the center of the page. You will have to constantly reposition it to keep from straining your eyes. The constant bending and reposition will affect the fragile wiring on this thing. About 10-15 uses after buying this product, I noticed a flikering (very annoying). It slowly worsens the more I used it. In fact, I put the thing away and haven't used it again b/c of the annoyance. Thank goodness I didn't pay much for it. Value for the money is about a "7" because you get what you pay for. Spend the money and try something else with more than 1 LED in it. My next bet is finding something with a real light bulb in it or maybe I will just annoy my husband at bed time and read with the lights on :)

Become self efficient today! Learn how to run your business from start to finish with e-books and software that come with resell rights! You will be amazed at what you can do if you teach yourself and not rely on another person to do your website details for you!
Increase your traffic today offer e-books for your clients that fit your site for free, increase your newsletter subscriber base today offer free e-books to new subscribers when they sign up for your newsletter. Create an awesome up sale by including hard too find e-books and software products that your visitors need and want.
The future is bright; e-books are the wave of the future. They are easy to use, are delivered immediately so you can learn and earn right in the comfort of your own home.

Building A New Online Bookstore - A Case Study In Search Engine Optimization
By Patrick Dent, Owner of New Online Bookstore, Author of Execution of Justice
If you already have a website, and are struggling to draw the traffic you need, you may have to go back to your URL and reconstruct your site to sing out to search engines using strategies that attract the attention of the biggest search engines. The basic strategy has three steps: first, select the best 3-4 keywords or phrases for your products, second, build those keywords into your URL, and third, to tweak your site to rank high for those 3-4 keywords.
Selecting Keywords
To truly pick the best keywords, you need to understand the KEI (keyword efficiency index). But, I'm going to show you how to modify the formula for the KEI to separate your true competitors from those who merely have the same keyword indexed on their site. The KEI formula is simple. You take the number of worldwide searches for a keyword per day and call that 'P' for popularity. Then, you take the number of websites containing that word or phrase in their 'keywords' tag, and call it 'C' for competition. When you perform a Google search, it will say 'displaying top 10 results of 540,000,000'. That huge number is 'C', and 'P' can be obtained from the free version of Web CEO. Now, Web CEO is going to calculate the standard KEI (which should be in the 100's to be good) and give you a number like 0.0009 for just about any keyword you can dream up. If there are new keywords under the Sun, I haven't located any. Here's where you tweak the formula to your advantage. The standard KEI is (P^2)/(C). Since you plan to build your keywords into your URL, which is heavily weighted by all major search engines, you want to modify 'C'. Type your keyword search phrase into Google as follows:
allinurl: "keyword phrase"
and 'C' drops from hundreds of millions to maybe tens of thousands or fewer. These are your true competitors. You beat the millions of others by default because your keywords are few, focused, and contained in your URL. After typing in the above, simply take the number of competing websites Google lists, and plug that into your KEI equation, and the KEI will be in harmony with your strategy of building keywords from the URL level down to the Title, Description, Keywords, Body Text and Alt Tag levels.
The owner of Quincy's Steakhouse said he'd learned all his mistakes building Quincy's and he wanted a fresh start. So, he sold Quincy's and opened Ryan's Steakhouse, avoiding all the pitfalls of his first run. He soon trampled Quincy's. Wise man. This is the same process I went through.
It took me a year to learn the pitfalls of opening a new commercial website. The first decision I made was the name of my URL, before I had any notion of what keywords I would be competing for. So, I named my site after my business - a sound strategy if you have name recognition like Amazon - but not for a newcomer to a very large pond, filled with 540 million competitors. I also tried to emulate the business model of the major online bookstores by being everything to everyone. Big mistake #2. Being a small, upstart business, I needed to focus in on a niche, not the entire planet.
Now, look at the URL and keywords for my new company, New Online Bookstore.
http://www.new-online-bookstore.com
Note that the URL contains 'online bookstore', 'bookstore', 'book', 'books', 'new' applied to any of the before, etc. This is because I wrote the copy for my entire site in natural language, with a few keywords in mind, then checked the keyword density with any number of free online tools. That told me what words I naturally used most often and prominently when describing my site. I then used Web CEO and the Overture Keyword Suggestion Tool, both free, to tweak my keywords to make them focused on my niche - new books from new authors. I figured I could take a small sliver of what Amazon and the other Big Boys do and focus with such single-minded intensity on that niche that I could beat them for a reasonable number of searches. This means sticking to the restriction of 3-4 keywords or phrases, each of which should: be included in your 'H1' tag, constitute a minimum of 2% of visible text (mine are in the 15% range), and be included in the Title, Description, Keywords and ALT tags.
You'll never completely satisfy Web CEO, but come as close as you can. When your site is as good as you can get it, have Web CEO automatically submit it to the major search engines every 30 days to keep your listing fresh. Now, you're set up to attract first time visitors.
Email Marketing
The problem is that less than 30% of first time visitors actually make a purchase. You need to collect their email addresses (www.worldminer.com) and follow up with them. For instance, my site offers a free monthly Short Story Ezine, which attracts both readers and writers without the need for spamming. Ezines are best published through an autoresponder, and your website should have ample opportunities for visitors to sign up for a free subscription. For those visitors who don't sign up on my site, I follow up with a non-commercial email offering them a no charge subscription to my ezine. This is not considered 'spam'. Spam is defined as "unsolicited, bulk, commercial email". There are many autoresponders to choose from, but none will tolerate more than a few spam complaints before dropping you. Stay away from FFA leads and services that promise 10 MILLION FREE EMAILS. These mailings are random and meaningless. Sending out 10 MILLION FREE EMAILS to Chinese antiquities dealers is a waste of your time if you're selling new books.
Using my unobtrusive method, I picked up 700 subscribers the first month, and am now into the thousands, with my next 13 ezine issues already loaded into my autoresponder.
It's that simple. Pick your keywords. Build them into the business name and URL. Then, do the detail work, parceling your keywords evenly across the alt tags for all images and text links. If you don't know HTML, it's not a big deal. You can easily find tutorials to show you exactly how to use these tags, and no other knowledge is needed.
Then, figure out some kind of newsletter that would interest your customers and include subscription forms on each page, with a clearly stated privacy statement. Offer a free subscription to your newsletter in as many avenues as possible, such as in the footer of this article.

Unless your laptop's soundcard is not working, or your speakers are barely hearable I wouldn't recommend this. Odds are your laptop does as much as these speakers.
It is well built, looks resistant and it does a decent job. Do not expect very good quality.

Celtic Woman
Celtic Woman
Fueled by healthy public appetite for traditional melodies and quasi-ethnic roots, the crossover genre continues to flourish with this debut release from Ireland's Celtic Woman ensemble. The brainchild of Sharon Browne, Dave Kavanaugh (founders of Ireland's successful Celtic Collections label) and young Riverdance touring company musical director David Downes, CW's five young women musicians and vocalists offer up an ever pleasant, Eire-savvy fusion of folk, pop and classical influences. Avoiding the intrusive, club-beat/sex kitten window dressing of Bond, the ensemble tackles material that ranges from the expected (spare, lovely covers of "Danny Boy" and "Ave Maria") to more adventurous fare like "Nella Fantasia" (Ennio Morricone's vocal adaptation of his rapturous theme from The Mission) and Enya's "Orinoco Flow." Elsewhere, "The Butterfly" offers up fiddle-fueled take on their Riverdance parallels (which also get a workout on the live bonus tracks), if renditions of Downes' originals like "One World" and "Send Me a Song" and "Someday" from Disney's animated Hunchback of Notre Dame hew slavishly to the middle of the road -- which largely seems the album's easy-listening intention. --Jerry McCulley

Customer Review: Average sound
Unless your laptop's soundcard is not working, or your speakers are barely hearable I wouldn't recommend this. Odds are your laptop does as much as these speakers.
It is well built, looks resistant and it does a decent job. Do not expect very good quality.
Customer Review: Like it so much bought it for a friend.
I like the sound of mine so much I bought one fo my friend for his birthday. It's not super loud but you can listen to music from your mac, with good quality. Just plug it into your USB port. My friend loves his too. He uses his all the time. Great for travel.

Whether a crawling novice or polished professional, writers from every walk of life have room for improvement in their work. Customer Review: Better As Just A Passing Curiosity
For fans of Chuck Jones, this is a great way to see some of his work outside of the Looney Tunes.
For fans of the book, this is just a passing curiosity.
Too many liberties were taken with the property. It only resembles the book in the most superficial of ways. The magic and charm of the book is lost in this animated version. I was very disappointed in it. Especially after wanting to see it for years. The songs in the film don't work as a way to advance the plot. They're just in there to be in there. They have no function at all.
As stated, most of the charm and magic of the book is gone. You get the basic plot. Milo gets the tollbooth. Takes his journey to rescue Rhyme and Reason. Along the way are Tock and the Humbug. In a nut shell, you go from The Land of Expectations, to the Doldrums, to Dictionopolis, to Digitopolis to the Castle in the Air. 90% of the little side excursions are gone. No Valley of Sound. No Island of Conclusions. No cities of Reality or Illusions. No Alex. No 5/8 child. Heck, even the demons in the Mountains of Ignorance are not even that interesting. Rhyme and Reason are not much more than blobs of color. Almost like the animators just couldn't be bothered to even try and make them look like people. Tock is drawn all wrong. Short Shrift if wrong. I could go on and on.
Since the book isn't all that long, I didn't see the need to cut so much of the more interesting parts out. If they had left out the songs, there would have been more than enough time to be more faithful to the book.
I'll stick to reading the book. It's 100% better. Maybe in a few years some one will get the idea to make a more faithful adaptation. I hope so because if done correctly a movie of The Phantom Tollbooth could be really spectacular. This version wasn't.
Customer Review: They need to make this movie on DVD
I was so happy to find this movie but the price was outrageous. I got it for my sisters birthday because her and this movie go way back. I guess it was worth the amount of money just because in my family it is a classic. They really need to make this movie on a DVD though because they last longer. This movie is so funny and just amazing. If you haven't seen it then I would suggest you rent it first because you may not be into this kind of movie. It is kind of trippy in some parts but the whole movie is just great. There is some singing and it is mostly a cartoon. It starts off as real life but then turns into a cartoon. This movie is a classic.
Here Come the ABCs [CD/DVD Combo]
Here Come the ABCs [CD/DVD Combo]
No stranger to the realm of children's records, They Might Be Giants have seen success with their CD No! and the book-and-CD combo Bed, Bed, Bed. Their latest CD, Here Come the ABCs, offers up 25 alphabetically themed songs. However, as is their charming way, the two Johns (Flansburgh and Linnell), use the letters as merely the connective tissue, allowing them to pursuit intriguing flights of fancy that consider everything from the relative power of letters and sounds to animal hijinks. Just as they've always done, there are wistful ballads and high octane rockers. TMBG have always been a family-friendly band, and this disc works just fine for adult fans, who can rightfully consider this simply their newest release. --David Greenberger
Customer Review: Great fun for everyone!
What a great, fun album! Our 23 month old has been listening to it for about 6 months now, and loves to speak along to it. Different songs are favorites at different times. My husband and I think it is catchy and fun for us, too. If your toddler is going to demand songs be repeated "one more time" as our does, these are songs you can listen to, too, "one more time" ad infinitum (almost). You even learn to sing the alphabet backward!
Customer Review: Great!
Here's another great hit by They Might Be Giants. Wonderful music and I loved the CD/DVD music combo. I don't think you can go wrong with this musical group for children.

Customer Review: Best product for comic lovers ever
Complete run, easy to use. Love, love, love this product. Shame on you Marvel for cancelling the contract with the company that produces these. I have been collecting comics for 30 years and have a massive collection, but this product was awesome for new readers that wanted to read entire collections. Unfortunately, Marvel pulled the plug, so planned collections for Thor, Daredevil and others may never see the light of day. At least we got a few before they got greedy. Snap them up from Amazon while you can, there won't be any more made!
Customer Review: Reliving my childhood
While I've found that I'm too mature for some of the comic book silliness, this DVD has been a great way to relive my childhood. I had a small stack of comic books when I was a kid, many of them FF, that I read hundreds of times, but without ever really being able to follow a story arc because I didn't subscribe and lived in the middle of nowhere. It's been great fun to bounce around across decades of comics, finding the origins of Galactus and Dr. Doom.
The format, of course, isn't as cozy as a real comic book, but with a decent laptop, I've been able to relax on the couch with them anyway.
Sport Fish of Florida
Sport Fish of Florida
This full color 256-page book from long-time fishing legend and Florida Sportsman Magazine Sr.Editor Vic Dunaway features his 50-plus years of fishing knowledge. Each of the 231 species is illustrated with original full-color artwork from renowned marine artist Kevin R. Brant. The book answers many common questions, providing specific information about the type of fish, its range and habitat, identifying features, whether or not it is good to eat, the average and record size of each fish and the best fishing methods to catch them.
Customer Review: Overall Great Book
I think the book is pretty good. The pictures are detailed and colorful, then it gives the basic lowdown on all the fish, and I really like that it gives you at least an idea of edibility. I also liked that they included a section for freshwater fish. I kind of wish it could have talked more about typical methods to catch the different fish, but I guess the book can't have everything..Overall a great book.

Customer Review: Automotive Repair Manual
I will never purchase from this seller again.I have received no manual, no money back or communication after three months.
Customer Review: Good book, but lacking some common repair needs.
I like this book very much. It is very easy to read and use for troubleshooting and replacing parts to your car. There are some things is lacks. Some issues are just not existant in the book and I have to look further. I understood this when I bought the book. (what do you expect for a small book for so cheap?) If you were looking for a full car repair manual for your car. You will need to buy a Helms or similar for about the price of four of this book. Even at that, I would reccomend this book as a companion.

Customer Review: IPOD < ZEN 5 PLUS
Zen 5 plus is a great mp3 player. It is easy to understand, I can't vouch for customer service because it DOES NOT BREAK. I had an ILO 1 gig. The thing:
1.) Ate batteries
2.) Would not play songs in its memory
3.) Buttons would break
4.) The recorder function became unoperable
Zen 5 vs. IPOD is an easy choice. Who needs Itunes, when you can download music from Amazon and put it on your Zen 5? No monthly fees, no tears, get music you want, not music you don't want but pay for. Best of all, you can keep all of it in mp3 format!
In addition to all that it also acts like a jump drive. Could you ask for more?

Zen 5 is the way to go!
Customer Review: Cute, BUT, Not So Friendly
I believe I am computer savvy, but this piece of work is not user friendly. I have not been able to anything but charge it.

Customer Review: You will look at everything in a whole new way.
Absolutely astonishing. When I purchase something I always look at the negative reviews and ask myself if it seems better than that. This is. This is not blood and gore. It is beauty and grace. You will see some things you have seen before in a whole new way. Don't let the negatives steer you away, even though some animals die in the making of this film. IT IS NATURE. DO YOU WANT THE WOLF TO STARVE AND D I E!
Customer Review: If you liked "March of the Penguins"...
see what a real cutting-edge nature documentary has to offer. Stunning. Educational. Not to be missed.
